Katie is petting a tadpole! She very gently puts her finger in the water and touches them on the back and pets them.

Tadpole Antics
They love the new sea grass Anna got for them from the lake. She couldn’t find much moss though. 🙁 We may have to go to the pet store and buy some algae there.
Legs!
This must be a little brother. He still only has leg nubs instead of legs.
Leg
Snail that came with the moss. And a nice little frog leg.
Our tadpoles have little gold flecks on them, especially on their tummies. I really wonder what kind of frog these tadpoles will become.
Frog Body, Eyes and Legs
I told Patrick that these tadpoles are night owls, and he responded that it makes sense, because so are frogs. Oh yeah…

"Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into its soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no other's hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller
