Thank You from Japan

Get out your kleenex. On the anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami that caused such devastation on 3/11/11 the country of Japan is thanking the world for coming to help them.

  1. Thank you, Penney for this tender reminder. Hope you remember me from Preble homeschooling days.
We have 2 very precious Japanese daughters (from exchange program in early 1980’s). Gratefully they and their families were spared devastation a year ago, but they do have friends who were affected.
    fondly, Melanie

    1. Of course I remember you, Melanie! You are awesome and unforgettable!

I’m so glad that your daughters were spared last year during the catastrophe. Praise the Lord! I’m sure it was still heartbreaking, though, to see their friends’ suffering.

It’s wonderful to hear from you again. How are you?

And how did you find my blog?

      Thanks so much for commenting.

      1. We are blessed. . .too much info for a brief online update.
I found you on a facebook post from Lydia Royer.
