Well, we’ve been living in a hotel for two days now. I haven’t been there much with all the running, but the kids tell me they don’t want to be stuck there any longer than necessary.
They got to go with us during the latter part of the day today. We looked at three houses today. One doesn’t count because it was really inadequate. The other two were very nice, but the one that had two acres with it had very small bedrooms. It was a house that was built in the 1800’s that had been completely remodeled. You can see pictures of it here at this website: http://canninghomestead.com/ It was adorable and beautifully decorated. But it only had 4 bedrooms that were very small. The master bedroom and bath were very nice, but the other bedrooms were barely larger than closets. If anyone wants a beautiful house in the country in Pennsylvania in a beautiful setting, I would highly recommend this house!
The other house is very nice, but the occupants are not scheduled to leave until Dec. 22nd. Like I said before, the kids do not want to be in a hotel any longer than necessary. We don’t want to pay hotel rates that long, either.
So, please keep praying for us to find the right house. I have two more to look at. And then I may have to turn somewhere else for help in finding a house – the dreaded rental management group.
But God is blessing and working in our hearts and drawing us closer to each other and to Himself, so I am grateful.

"Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into its soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no other's hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

I’m praying Penney! 🙂
