Just another un-ordinary day at Safe Haven Academy.
I’ve been reading this book to the twins. They really enjoy hearing about Noah’s Ark from the perspective of the animals.
Pre-storytime hijinks!
Abby kept herself busy with a computer game while I read to the big kids.
Kelsey taught the babies some preschool skills with Dr. Seuss’ Preschool game.
Fiona cooked bacon and eggs.
Kelsey helped feed Abby.
Anna watches Family Affair with the twins. Our real-life twins are fascinated by the TV twins, Buffy and Jody. There is lots to learn about the way our culture used to be at the time this was filmed and the different way people live in a big city from the way we have always lived.

"Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into its soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no other's hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Family Affair! Fun day!
Looks like a good day to me. Any day you survive without pulling your hair out, when you have littles in the house, is a good day. Is there such a thing as a “normal” day. There never is around here and I don’t have any little kids at home any more. My little one is 13!! Great post. Great pics. I haven’t seen Family Affair in years, but I have been watching some old shows on Hulu on the computer. That book looks good. I have never seen it before. I will have to check it out.
