Are you waiting on God to do something big for you?
Are you tired of waiting?
If you are in this camp, I know how you feel.
Waiting is part of our spiritual training. Not my favorite part. Is it yours?
But the payoff is worth it.
“I am sure God keeps no one waiting unless He sees that it is good for him to wait.” ~ #CSLewis
I had some thoughts about waiting correctly with the right posture of your heart.
As you listen to this, think about your heart attitude as you go through a period of waiting for your prayers to be answered.
Give God the gift of your faith and trust.
He is blessed by it, and He deserves it.
He is faithful and true.
We can trust Him.
He is in control, and He knows what He’s doing.
So… Let’s “Wait patiently for Him to act”. Psalm 37:7
“I do not know why there is this difference, but I am sure that God keeps no one waiting unless He sees that it is good for him to wait. When you do enter your room, you will find that the long wait has done you some kind of good which you would not have had otherwise. But you must regard it as waiting, not as camping. You must keep on praying for light: and of course, even in the hall, you must begin trying to obey the rules which are common to the whole house. And above all you must be asking which door is the true one; not which pleases you best by its paint and paneling.” – C.S. Lewis

"Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into its soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no other's hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

I love this Penney! We will all be faced with being in a season of waiting from time to time. But as you said, it is imperative that we have the right posture before the Lord while we wait.
Yes, waiting in faith is important!
This is so encouraging! My husband and I are in this exact place right now. Thank you for sharing your heart!
I’m so glad you were encouraged!
