Men at Work Home!!!
Hey dads!
Do you realize that God has put you in an important role in your family?
You are charged with more than just being the breadwinner – as important as that is.
The Lord really has a greater job for you than the job that you do to support your family financially.
You are needed by your wife and children! They need your love, your attention, your teaching, feedback and input into their lives.
You probably work hard all day. It is very commendable to be a good provider for your family. And it does take a lot of energy and mental power.
But God has also given you the job of being the spiritual leader of your home.
Here is what the Lord says in His word in regards to the role of a man in his family.
For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.”
Genesis 18:19
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4
If this is news to you, you should pray about it and ask the Lord what you need to do to step into this important role that God has established for you.
Your children need you to teach them about God and His ways so that they will be established in the truth and have an anchor for their souls.
Someday you will answer to God for how you handled this serious task.

"Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into its soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no other's hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller
